Try Scuba
The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to try diving. You'll be in shallow confined water and receive individual attention from your dive instructor so you can enjoy your first unforgettable breaths underwater and experience the magic of scuba diving. At the end of this short course, you will have your SSI Try Scuba recognition card and will undoubtedly want to dive again.
Livingseas conducts this program directly in the ocean at a beautiful protected site with lots of fish and corals. We maintain a 1 to 1 student-to-instructor ratio, so you will be very well taken care of and well on your way to becoming a real diver!

Open Water Diver Course - Classic
Ever wondered about the world underwater? Are you curious about learning more? Here’s your chance to find out for yourself. The SSI Open Water Diver Course prepares you for your first underwater adventure and equips you with the knowledge and skills to dive safely and competently.
Our Open Water course consists of:
- 1 day of academic and pool training,
- 2 days of open water training dives with 2 dives each day
After completing the course, you are qualified to plan and conduct open water dives with a teammate - up to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

Adventurer
The SSI Advanced Adventurer course broadens your diving horizons once you are a certified diver.
Learn about the following 5 types of dives when you do this course with Livingseas:
- Deep

These are the most useful 5 specialty dives you can do, and you will be using this in all of your future diving. We also emphasize using an SMB on every dive.
The course is a minimum of 2 days and 6 dives, but 3 days and 9 dives gives you more time to master these skills.

Rescue
Diver
The Rescue Diver course teaches you the more common diving accidents and what you will have to do in case there is an emergency.
On this course, you will go through:
- 1 day of academic and pool session
- 2 days of diving with 3 dives on each day.
At Livingseas, our focus is on prevention rather than just the cure, and our emphasis will be on team diving and rescue and making sure that you never have to perform a rescue.

XR Foundations
The SSI XR Foundations is geared towards learning about gear configuration in preparation for more technical dives.
Here's a quick breakdown of how the course is structured:
Day 1 - Buoyancy, trim, kicks and stability
Day 2 - Individual drills (Basic 5, Valve Drill, Stationary S-Drill)
Day 3 - Emergency drills (Dynamic S-Drill and Gas Sharing Ascents)
Day 4 - 15 m timed emergency gas sharing ascents and mid-water drills
All aspects of the course require a high team mindset (positioning, awareness, and communication), so we will be working on that throughout the course.
At the end of each day of diving, we will have lunch and continue with video reviews until dinner time, so expect to be in class until roughly 6 or 7 pm each day.
This is a skills based course, and builds your stability and control in the water, readying you for your next deeper step into diving.
To take this course, you have to:
- Be a certified Open Water Diver
- Have at least 24 dives

Dive
Master
The Master course is the first step to a professional level for divers.
The course includes an interesting theory course called the Science of Diving, and the practical aspects are taught in the Dive Guide program.
With Livingseas, this course will challenge you to raise your standards of how diving can and should be conducted.
We conduct this course with 2 components, the theory and skill training that lasts 1 week, and an internship period which lasts until you feel confident enough as a real dive leader.

Technical
XR Foundations

Trimix
The Extended Range Trimix course allows you to start using helium based gases to start conducting dives up to 45m.
On this course, you will go through:
- 6 days of diving
- 3 dives on each day
This course can be conducted in both backmount and sidemount configurations.
To take the course, you have to:
- Have a certification in Deep Diving, EAN40, and Science of Diving Specialties
- Have done at least 50 dives

Identification
Knowing what you are seeing underwater will always give you a deeper sense of satisfaction.
Corals are perhaps the most commonly overlooked part of the diving experience, as they form the "background" of your dive.
However, without the corals, there would be nothing else there to see!
On this course, you will go through:
- 1 Day of theory and 3 dives.
- 1 day of 3 Coral ID dives
And in order to take the course you need to be a certified Open Water Diver.
